A very unusual phenomenon from the Canadian forest - the earth breathes.
The ground, of course, does not breathe. This unusual effect is caused by a strong wind, which partially rips the dry trees out of the ground, but in the loose soil they are held in place by a superficial root system.
The trees sway in the wind, and the roots set the soil and litter in motion. That's how these "sighs" appear.
