Formation of fractal designs seen in a drop of soy sauce as natural salt crystallization occurs. The crystals appear as the soy sauce evaporates on a glass microscope slide. This is an excellent example of crystals branching off central dendritic spines. Taken with microscope and iPhone XR. Video recently featured at the Microscopy Congress 2021 (mmc2021) as a shortlisted video entry in the Royal Microscopical Society (RMS) Imaging Competition.
