Want a fun fact? Manatees have ears and you can see this little girl’s ear like a dot on her body captured in the last frames of this video. There’s no external earlobe, just a small dark hole you can see on the side of her head, a couple of inches behind her last wrinkle.
Manatees can hear very well and have large ear bones inside. After a manatee passes away, the exact age can be determined by counting the rings on the manatee’s ear bone!
