Glomus tumour, it is classified as a benign vascular tumour arising from glomus structures which are concerned with thermoregulation, the tumor consist of vascular channels surrounded by glomus cells, it usually grows slowly in a subungual position as a very painful red firm nodule, it has female predilection commonly in the 4th and 5th decades of life, when a tourniquet is applied proximally the pain and size of the glomus tumor reduces, this is essentially a pathognomonic clinical feature of glomus tumors.
