— "The Human Rights Council strongly calls on Myanmar military and other security forces and authorities to immediately protect the rights to freedom of opinion and expression, religion or belief, association and peaceful assembly and lift restrictions on the Internet.

In the resolution on the human rights implications of the crisis in Myanmar, the Human Rights Council calls for safe and unimpeded humanitarian access to all people in need.

The Human Rights Council stresses the need to address the root causes of the crisis in Rakhine State and to create the conditions necessary for the safe, voluntary, sustainable and dignified return of displaced persons, including of Rohingya Muslims and other minorities

The Human Rights Council requests the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Special Rapporteur on Myanmar to assess the current human rights situation in Myanmar, and to provide updates in their reports to the Council."
