BREAKING: The Ministry of Internal Affairs is reporting that the Azerbaijani armed forces overnight blocked the Goris-Stepanakert highway between the villages of Aghavno and Tegh.
The new Tegh-Kornidzor highway in the Syunik Province bypassing the closed road is already ready. It is connected with the new Kornidzor-Hin Shen road (Berdzor (Lachin) Corridor) that was commissioned in August 2022.
Works to asphalt the unpaved Tegh-Kornidzor road are currently in progress on the part of the Republic of Armenia.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that the Tegh-Kornidzor dirt road is passable, and given the ongoing blockade of Artsakh, it is possible to carry out humanitarian supplies to Artsakh via Russian peacekeepers and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
It’s important to note that the Berdzor Corridor has been blocked by pseudo Azerbaijani “eco-activists” since December 12, 2022.
