The acting president, Geraldo Alckmin, met this Wednesday (17th), at the Planalto Palace, with the president of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab.
According to Alckmin, the main subject discussed was the sustainable development of Brazil, including potential in low-carbon industry, bioeconomy and the adoption of new technologies for the green transition.
"From the geopolitical point of view, Schwab qualifies Brazil as a 'biopower.' , which was not released to the press.
Alckmin took over the Presidency of the Republic on an interim basis due to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's trip to Hiroshima, Japan , where he will participate as a guest in the G7 Summit, a group that brings together seven of the most developed countries on the planet.
