Not because we’re in a romantic relationship but because we’re both human: we both feel love and joy and worry and fear.
But if I’ve learnt anything at all in my life it is that fear is an imposter. Fear is anticipating bad things that never happen, fear is worrying about things that are beyond our immediate control; fear is a lie told to us through gossip and horror stories.
Today we have nothing to fear.
We are not diseased, we are not threats to each other, we are not enemies.
No matter what story is being told.
