The first gig I did after moving from Healesville to Mullumbimby was at my friend, Irene’s house.
I offered to come play a few songs at her place where she had her Gelato bus set up, around the time the corporate governments were trying to control every aspect of our lives including how we should gather and share music.
Irene and I reckon that’s up to you.
You have the right to choose where you go to listen to some music and maybe have a nice ice-cream or some cake—or whatever you want.
So when Irene’s home in Mullumbimby was flooded recently it reminded me of that gig I did, where a bunch of freedom loving folk got together to share community.
Yesterday, thanks to your generous donations, I was able to hand over an envelope of cash as a contribution towards Irene rebuilding her home, which as you’ll see in this video, was hit hard by the flood.
