Billion News — Telegram Channel

Billion Wallet's channel runs mostly on community management for the Billion app rather than market coverage: reward disputes, download links, and cross-platform promotion (App Store, Google Play, X/Twitter) make up nearly every post available.

The dominant thread across the sampled posts is a prolonged dispute over an early-user "Gems" bonus program: repeated polls asking who did or didn't claim rewards from roughly a year earlier, a public tally (88 people said they hadn't claimed, only 16 actually filled out the claim form), and a lengthy explanation blaming Telegram for banning TON payments inside its apps and forcing a switch to Stars — a move the team says drove away an audience that was "almost 90% bots" from paid collaborations. The team states it has cut ties with Telegram and the TON ecosystem entirely and now operates independently, backed by what it describes as a parent fintech and banking holding with the necessary licenses.

Beyond that dispute, posts are limited to app-store review requests, a reminder to follow the project's X account for more frequent updates, and a short "New Year, new team" relaunch announcement. There is a large activity gap: the channel was created in April 2024 and the sampled posts jump straight to a burst of activity in January 2026, with nothing shown in between.

Good: the team is unusually direct about a bonus dispute gone wrong and explains its reasoning for leaving the TON ecosystem in specific terms rather than vague corporate language.

Missing: no market analysis, no wallet feature explainers, no product updates beyond the dispute — despite the word "News" in the title, there is nothing here resembling crypto news. Anyone downloading the app to check features or security will find little beyond a rewards controversy.

Fits an existing Billion Wallet user trying to follow the bonus dispute or the project's pivot away from TON. Not useful as a general crypto or wallet news source.
