Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley has predicted that wealth management firms will increase their Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in terms of holdings. The prediction comes at a time when Bitcoin ETFs are expected to gain even more traction after the halving. Horsley’s prediction aligns with the broader market belief that there is increasing demand for ETFs, given that Bitcoin investments in the United States exchange-traded funds (ETFs) market recorded a net positive inflow right before the Bitcoin halving day following five consecutive days of drain.

2024-04-20 19:29:57 Grayscale Reveals 0.15% Fees For Its Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF

Bitcoin ETF provider Grayscale has provided some details of its spin-off fund, the Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC), including a more competitive 0.15% fee than the uplisted mothership GBTC product, according to a pro forma financials in its latest filing. The filing also provides an illustrative example of the amount of Bitcoin (BTC) Grayscale will contribute to the mini fund: 63,204 bitcoin, or 10% of existing assets in GBTC, as per the filing. Shares of the BTC trust are to be issued and distributed automatically to holders of GBTC shares.

Foundry Digital’s USA Pool Team said it will distribute profits to its members if the pool mines the first satoshi in the halving block, according to an email screenshot posted by The Mining Pod host Will Foxley on X. “We’ve taken the steps to isolate the epic sat if Foundry USA Pool does mine this block, and we will make reasonable efforts to monetize it and distribute 100% of the proceeds to our pool members,” the team said in the email.
