When the American writer and psychologist Timothy Leary was convicted of drug possession, he was offered a standardised test, which Leary himself had developed some years earlier, to determine where he was imprisoned.
He filled out the test so that his type was determined to be best suited to garden-variety work. Based on the results, Leary was assigned to work as a gardener in a low-security prison, from which he escaped six months later.
