I grew up in a small town in Mississippi which was best known | Bob Anderson 🇺🇸

I grew up in a small town in Mississippi which was best known as the birthplace of Elvis (I went to church with his Presley cousins). It had another claim on history though as one of the first in birthing the movement to save the traditional family from the onslaught of the secular left.

Back in the 1970s, a lone warrior arose in Tupelo, MS to launch American Family Association (AFA). His name was Don Wildmon, and he preached of the coming cultural apocalypse. He was on Phil Donahue’s show and others to serve as an object of wrath by the left, but he willingly took the blows. He pushed boycotts of offending company’s with mail-in postcards, including Disney, Levi’s and others. He warned church leaders, but most ignored him. The culture war was there, already brewing.

Well, we know now. Don was right. AFA is still running strong, pushing to stop the increasing madness of the left in pushing newly-created sexual identities, boys in girl’s showers, and generally anything that undermines the institution of the family as designed by God - dad, mom and kids.

We can’t sit idle any longer. Too much is at stake. Find a way to get involved. It’s now or never.
