Former FBI Asst Dir Terry Turchie just said he once fought all night to get a warrant to search the Unabomber’s cabin but couldn’t get approval from … wait for it … Merrick Garland. Thats right. The guy wouldn’t sign off to search a killer’s house. Eventually, AG Janet Reno signed it.

Today, the same Merrick Garland just went on tv telling us all that “where possible, it is standard practice to seek less intrusive means as an alternative to a search,” but he had to send dozens of FBI agents in to search a former president’s house without any allegation of a serious crime. No choice.

Will Republicans have the guts to impeach?
