I wrote it after seeing Senator McConnell tell voters last week that he will do nothing to hold President Biden accountable for impeachable crimes because Republicans don’t control the Senate or House. In that one statement is revealed the old defeatist mindset of Republicans.

Even after watching Trump be beaten like a piñata by Dems who threatened impeachment from before he took office, they still haven’t learned. Dems never controlled both the House and Senate, but they made Trump’s days in office a living hell and significantly obstructed his agenda.
