NYC Criminal Justice Advocate, Who Recently Appeared on Joe Rogan's Podcast, Arrested After Legs, Head Found in Freezer
• Sheldon Johnson, 48, was arrested following the discovery of body parts inside a Bronx apartment on Tuesday night.
• Johnson faces charges of murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon. The ex-con has a lengthy criminal history, but recently worked as a criminal justice reform advocate.
• Police responded to a wellness check at 979 Summit Avenue in the Highbridge section around 8:25 p.m. concerning an occupant in Apartment 6G.
• Upon investigation, authorities found a torso and arms inside the apartment. Subsequently, detectives obtained a search warrant and discovered the victim's legs and head in a freezer on Wednesday night.
• The victim, identified as 44-year-old Collin Small, had been shot in the head, as confirmed by the Medical Examiner's Office.
