Out of T-72s - NATO Begins Sending 1940-era T-55s
I have seen Western commentators mockingly joke about the inevitability of Russia sending T-55s - which first went into service in the 1940s - to fight in Ukraine.
The irony is that it is now NATO sending T-55s
to Ukraine.
Slovenia is reportedly sending 28 T-55s ("modernized" in the 1990s) to Ukraine.
28 tanks is meager, Ukraine has lost more in a single day to Russian firepower.
