2021-11-22 16:39:14 Today's market performed as it did for the past few weeks. However, an extra sector saw quite some movement today. That sector is #Plantation.

Firstly, looking at #FCPO from a big picture, it is still in a nice uptrend. From a closer look, it is currently within a sideways box between 4782 and 5071.

The Plantation index chart showed quite some bullish momentum, so a rebound could very much be coming. The resistance is around the 6804 area, so it could push towards there.

Most plantation related counters had quite a strong surge today, but the few with rather decent trend would be #INNO, #THPLANT and #BPLANT.

INNO has a fresh breakout from it's horizontal resistance, so this could signal a fresh bullish wave. THPLANT had a small double bottom pattern and is currently rebounding strongly. BPLANT had been above support area for quite some time and now finally bullish pressure is shown, so it's trend is very healthy.

Conclusion, this could be the first sector to begin recovery. But this could mean that other sectors will follow up in the future.

Only World Group Holdings Berhad or #OWG is a well known company that operates mainly within the field of leisure activities and F&B industry.

Therefore, their business is very much affected by the situation of the pandemic. However, Malaysia is on course for recovery as our country's travel ban has been revoked. This may signal the beginning of the recovery for OWG.

One of the OWG's main business is its #FoodServices where they have numerous restaurants around the country. Though, quite a number of their restaurants can be found in #GentingHighlands, such as #Richdad, #OnlyMee and #MunakataRamen.

Another key business for the company is their #Amusement & #Recreation business. These are of course tourist attraction spots. They have this in various states as well, for example they have #TheTop in Komtar, Penang and #Ripley's Believe it or Not Adventureland in Sky Avenue, Genting Highlands.

All in all, OWG is expected to very much benefit from this economic recovery as their business requires large crowds of people. Quite a number of their amusement activities and F&B are located in Genting Highlands, so they will benefit from the crowd appearing there.

Looking at their technical chart, they have been supported above the RM0.53 support for quite some time. A nice bullish hammer candle formed on 17 Nov when the market was rather bearish that day, so this definitely shows some bullish pressure supporting the counter.

Looking at the chart, we can see that the #KLCI index had been in a sideways instead of crashing lower. So this is a sign of potential bottoming, meaning it is already at its lowest point.

'History repeats itself', so there is a likelihood that the index will start to rebound very soon as the retracement period based on the previous one is suppose to end soon.

After this week long retracement, it is clear that some stocks are bad, but there are also stocks that are good. The easiest indicator of whether a stock is good, is whether it is still sustained above its support.

A quick example would be stocks like #GREATEC and #SCIENTX. Despite the entire market retracement, they still held above their sideways support area steadily, so they are still very healthy.

In conclusion, let's see if history is repeating itself and whether these good stocks will be following up.
