Zetta - Russian electric cars need money
Russian startup Zetta, which creates electric cars
refuted rumors about the closure of the project to create an electric car.
The company explained that the launch is delayed due to lack of funding. With sufficient funds, the project can be implemented within a year.
Note that the startup's problems began back in 2020 with the arrival of the pandemic. One of the founders also stated that the project needs venture financing, which "is not strongly developed" in Russia.
The compact electric car was planned to be equipped with 24.5 HP motor-wheels each and batteries with a capacity of up to 32 kW⋅h, and the price two years ago was expected to be ₽550 thousand.
