Citigroup announces it is winding down business in RussiaIt is known that Citi gets rid of retail business in Russia, since the spring of 2021, and in March 2022, the group decided to stop work with the Russian legal entities.
Citigroup said today that the process will begin soon and will affect 2,300 employees and 15 branches.
Work with foreign clients, especially those leaving Russia, will continue.
