A Arrival has a problem. Now only electric vans are targeted.
The company reported Q2 losses of $89.6 million, and a lawsuit has already been filed against Arrival because of production delays.
Arrival, a British startup with Russian roots that sets up production of commercial electric vehicles,
reduced its plans to ship finished products from 400 to 20 units this year.
Work on an electric bus and a passenger car model has been suspended in order to bet on only one type of vehicle: vans.
The head of the company said that they are "switching to a mode where they have one product, one shift and one plant. We think this ability to switch increases our chances of success.
