Researchers at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, together with scientists at the University of Tokyo, have unveiled a third robotic arm, AugLimb, for simultaneous manipulation of multiple objects.
The additional limb is controlled by the legs, is capable of extending to a length of 2.5 human forearms, and folds compactly several times.
