American startup Brown Foods has created milk without milkThis is "real" whole milk created using cell culture technology, reports TechCrunch.
The startup is positioning itself as the only company producing "real cow's milk" in a lab. Brown Foods spent less than three months developing the technology.
"We tested our product for major macronutrients: proteins, fats and carbohydrates. These values were close to cow's milk," Sohail Gupta, one of the three founders of the startup, said.
