Twitter and Shopify announce partnership

Social network Twitter is expanding its Shopping e-commerce business, TechCrunch reports. The company announced a partnership with retailer platform Shopify. As part of the deal, Twitter will launch an app with a shopping channel that will be available to all Shopify users in the U.S.

The app allows merchants to connect to Twitter Shopping Manager, a dashboard for creating a product catalog and enabling profile shopping.
