British fintech company SumUp has raised €590 millionIt has raised
€1.5 billion over the past 10 years, but most of it goes to pay off debt. SumUp is using the new investment to acquire other companies, hire more people and develop products more organically.
The company has raised most of its investment from the Bain Capital Tech Opportunities fund. BlackRock, btov Partners, Centerbridge, Crestline, Fin Capital, Sentinel Dome Partners and others also joined the list of investors.
