More refugees are expected to evacuate the country. The International Organization for Migration estimates that since international troops started withdrawing in May, at least 30,000 have fled the country weekly.
Meanwhile, Facebook says it has a special team taking down content supporting or praising the Taliban. The company has previously faced criticism for failing to stop incitement and hate speech on its platforms.
