Many individuals tell me they have sent out 100+ resumes and haven’t received any responses. I tell them that’s like playing the lottery and hoping to win. The truth is many resumes go to the rejection pile unread. What you need to do is network. Reach out to people. Ask for JOB REFERRALS. 85% of all jobs are filled via networking. Don’t be afraid to ask everyone if there are any suitable vacancies in their company. Pick up the phone and call someone in HR to let them know you just sent your resume.
