This video is floating around now but it’s been around for a long time. Project Looking Glass. This specific clip always resonated with me because I’m an avid chess player. I love the outwitting of your opponent & more so, I love the idea that one can win many moves ahead.
Chess is a beautiful game, which I taught myself as a way to pass some very hard times while living in my truck in my early 20’s. I now play at a chess rating of 1600, creeping towards 1700.
It’s truly a game that alters your mind-state and unlocks your tactfulness in everyday life. Moves, countermoves.
