Police Officers will no Longer Respond to Phone Calls Regarding Theft, Harassment, Criminal Mischief, and Burglary Alarms Between 3AM-7AM

In a nutshell, the Purge will be allowed between 3AM-7AM

• There will be NO OFFICERS at the 6 stations throughout the city and will only be 20 on duty officers to cover the entire city. They are already dealing with staffing shortages

• These calls will now be taken by a telephone reporting unit…. To file police reports over the phone.
