For a while, gold has been moving in a positive range, so what are the economic reasons that might restore gold to its top?
1- Expectations of high inflation rates in the United States of America make the eyes turn again towards gold, the star of safe heaven.
2- The 10-year US Treasury bond yield fell below 1.3%.
3- Statements by some US monetary policy makers who believe that economic conditions need to start reducing the bond purchase program of the US Central Bank.
4- Unemployment claims were worse than expected.
technically:
Gold is in a sideways direction that tilts positively, in the short term, we await the closing of the highest levels of 1806, in order for prices to head towards levels of 1817 as a first stop, considering that all areas above 1777 are buying areas. Open / Comment
