The Archdiocese of Singapore is honoured to have their archbishop, Monsignor William Goh elevated to the Cardinalate.

Archbishop William is conscious that this honour and new responsibility conferred on him is also a recognition of the contribution of the faithful in the archdiocese for helping him to build a vibrant, evangelising and missionary church.

2022-05-29 13:01:06 We hear Jesus praying for His disciples and the church, exhorting us all to believe in Him and to remain in communion. God is made known to the world through the oneness or the unity of those who believe because our communion and faith would reflect the union that Jesus has with His Father.

The beauty of our communion is that it begins with our encounter with the Lord in the Eucharist but it does not end there. This encounter should move us to extend out to the world to share this love with others especially those who are most in need of it.

As our celebration of Easter draws to a close, let us make or renew this commitment: to share the love and glory of the Lord in the communities that we are a part of, so that we can become effective witnesses of our Easter joy to the world.

2022-05-22 13:01:55 In this Sunday's Gospel reading, Jesus prepares His disciples for a major transition in which He will no longer be physically present with them, but He will send down an Advocate to remind them of everything that He has taught them so that they may continue to remember and imitate Him.

Life frequently throws us into a sea of chaos and confusion, causing us to lose sight of God. In these times, let us remember to seek the Advocate's help in reminding us of God in these times so that we may be filled with His grounded and steadfast peace.
