Arizona Senate President Karen Fann sends a Letter response to the DOJ
Here is a copied paragraph re: canvassing efforts: "With respect to voter canvassing, the Senate determined several weeks ago that it would indefinitely defer that component of the audit. If and to the extent the Senate subsequently decides that canvassing is necessary to the successful completion of the audit, its vendor will implement detailed requirements to ensure that the canvassing is conducted in a manner that complies fully with the United State Constitution and federal and state civil rights laws."
Disappointing on canvassing being deferred. Keep in mind though, Liz Harris' huge volunteer group has been canvassing for many months already, well before it was ever discussed in the audit. We will wait for more information.
