Corporate bond market volume

By the end of January 2022, the total volume of Russian domestic corporate bonds amounted to 17 569.69 billion rubles. Compared to December, market volume decreased by 0.01%. A month earlier, the market volume was 17 571.9 billion rubles. A year ago, following the results of January 2021, the Russian corporate bond market volume was equal to 15 855.25 billion rubles - the figure increased by 10.81%.

In January, 8 issuers entered the market, 26 new issues were placed (in December 2021, there were 42 issuers and 108 new issues). Last January, 10 issuers entered the market with 24 bond issues.

Municipal bond market volume

There were no placements in the municipal bond segment in January. The total market volume did not change and amounted to 990.82 billion rubles. A year ago, at the end of January 2021, the market volume was 908.3 billion rubles, 9.09% less than the current.

Government bond market volume

In January, the Russian Ministry of Finance held 2 auctions; both were successful. The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation then suspended the holding of auctions in order to help stabilize the market situation. In January, government bond market volume amounted to 15 835.71 billion rubles (7 auctions were held in December 2021, market volume was 15 826.74 billion rubles).
