TKT: Marks and bands
There is no pass or fail in TKT exam. Results are reported in Bands 1–4. Band 1 represents limited knowledge of the content areas tested. Band 2 is for basic but systematic knowledge. Band 3 shows a breadth and depth of knowledge and Band 4 extensive knowledge.
Here you can see the grading system of TKT test:
Band 1: 0 – 15
Band 2: 16 – 44
Band 3: 45-69
Band 4: 70-80
One mark is given for each correct answer. A band is awarded according to the number of correct answers.
