Changi Airport and Jewel will remain closed to members of the public until 13 June 2021, the end of the Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) period.

While additional cleaning and disinfection of our terminals and Jewel have been completed, the additional time will allow airport workers to be briefed and trained on new operating processes and requirements, as well as for enhanced safety protocols to be implemented smoothly.

Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport will be closed to the public from 13 to 26 May 2021 to allow all workers to be tested and for cleaning and disinfection of the premises and facilities. The airport remains open for air travel during this period. Our highest priority remains the well-being of our employees, visitors and passengers, and it is with the aim to stem the spread of undetected cases at Changi that we made this decision.

During this period, there will be no public access to Jewel. Only essential airport workers and departing passengers with air tickets will be allowed into the terminals.

With your support and understanding, we remain optimistic that we can win this ongoing fight against Covid-19 and hope to welcome you back with confidence after this.

2021-05-11 13:00:53 Changi Airport is stepping up measures to strengthen our defence against Covid-19 due to the occurrence of cases at the airport.

In addition to mandatory testing for all airport workers to quickly detect, isolate and treat any potential Covid-19 cases, Terminal 3 Basement 2 is now undergoing deep cleaning.

We will continue to uphold high standards for cleanliness and look forward to breaking the chain of transmission so that we can welcome you back with confidence. Open / Comment

As a precautionary measure, Changi Airport Terminal 3 Basement 2 (T3B2) will be temporarily closed to the public from 10 May 2021 until further notice.

Only airport workers will be allowed into the area once deep cleaning has been completed and staff have been tested negative for Covid-19.

During this period, menus from T3B2 F&B outlets may not be available on Changi Eats, Changi Airport’s food delivery service. The customer service counter at T3B2 will also be closed. Customers needing assistance should visit the Information Counter at Terminal 3 Arrival Hall (Level 1).

Stores and restaurants at other levels of Terminal 3 will remain open. Open / Comment
