The Briggs-Rauscher reaction is a self-oscillatory chemical reaction. When interacting with hydrogen peroxide, iodic acid, manganese (II) sulfate, sulfuric and malonic acids and starch, an oscillatory reaction occurs with colorless-gold-blue transitions.
