How can you distinguish between a leopard, a cheetah, and a jaguar? Take a look at the spots! Leopards have rosette spots all over their bodies and solid black spots on their legs, heads, and sides. Unlike cheetahs, there are no black facial stripes. Leopards do not have tiny spots inside the polygonal rosettes like jaguars do.
