ShotSpotter is what brought cops to the site where they murdered 13-year-old Adam Toledo. CPD's sprawling surveillance network isn't life-saving technology, it's a repressive apparatus that kills people.

THIS SATURDAY @ 3 PM
UChicago May Day March
Against Cops and Bosses
Meet up and rally at 3pm, Jewel-Osco parking lot, 6014 S Cottage Grove. March to the University of Chicago Police Department.
The UCPD extended patrol area includes 65,000 Chicago residents, most of whom have no affiliation with the University. As a private police force, the department is not required to share records through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and lacks even the most basic accountability to the neighborhood it occupies.

CPD lies and misrepresents statistics to demonize Chicago's youth while "tough-on-crime" aldermen call for more kids in prison.
