Communion On The Moon:On July 20, 1969 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon. (
A Christian Deist and Presbyterian, respectively).The first liquid and food ever consumed on the moon, were the bread and wine of communion.
Prior to taking their first steps on the lunar surface, Aldrin celebrated communion to honor the God who had made their journey possible. Aldrin recited the following passage:
