Former HNLC (Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council) Leader, | Christianity Against India

Former HNLC (Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council) Leader, Cherishterfield Thangkhiew who surrendered in 2018 has been killed in an encounter between Meghalaya Police and HNLC Cadres in the early morning at the Thangkiew residence .
He was involved in the IED Blast which took place in Shillong, 2 days ago acc to Police.

Cherishterfield, during his HALC (Hynniewtrep Achik Liberation Council), had set up several training camps for the outfit in Bangladesh, after the dissolution of HALC, he set up HNLC and fled to Bangladesh until his surrender in 2018.
