When researching into a new project that u are excited about, it’s all about the team. When u look at the team, u have to ask yourself can the team deliver?

Amateurs judge a team based on the skills, experience and credentials of technical development. This is amateurish research and simply poor judgement. Professional venture capitalists asks different questions. They look at the visionary, leadership ability, sales and marketing ability, adaptability to change and MOST IMPORTANTLY…

“The Ability To Bring In Money.”

I cannot emphasize how important this is. Without money, the company collapses. I will never invest in a company in the earliest of stages. I will want to first know their ability to raise funds before investing in them. Yes I may not have the highest percentage gains, but this is smart investing. The most important rule when it comes to investing is to not lose money. This is not gambling.

When the team is capable of bringing money in, they will be able to hire the best superstar technical team, superstar development team, and whatever product development team they need. With money u can hire an A-list superstar team, elite partnerships or even hire top tier companies to do the development. It’s that simple.

A-list technical and development is easy. All these can be simply be bought by giving them more money.

But…
True Visionaries cannot be bought.

That’s why when you invest in any project, do whatever u can to research on the team’s ability to raise money and bring money in. Ask the right questions.

That is key.
