I’m here to encourage you to keep praying despite any discouragement or doubts you may have. You may not feel like you are making a difference, especially after you have been praying for someone for many weeks, months, or years.

I will tell you from experience that the enemy will try to convince you, that you are wasting your time praying for that friend, that family member, or a co worker, a spouse…etc. Don’t give in to the devils lies that your prayers aren’t working. He knows very well how powerful your prayers are.

You plant the seed, God will bring the harvest. I like to imagine myself with a machine gun loaded with seeds, and then pull the trigger. Spreading seeds everywhere. You don’t know which seeds will develop and grow. You don’t know when someone else will come and water that seed you planted. But God sees it. Keep at it, get some mustard seed faith and pull that trigger .

“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.”
