The Gospel of Jesus Christ has never existed without a threat against it. Many martyrs throughout history, including 11 of the 12 disciples, have been violently killed over the last two millennia for refusing to recant their belief in Jesus. Even though the enemy has sought to destroy us, we have grown exponentially in the face of oppression and tyranny.

The enemy realized that direct opposition and death doesn't work to destroy us, so he has introduced a new tactic into the body of Christ: Apathy.

Apathy works because people quit caring. We quit caring about truth. We quit caring about love. We quit caring about others.

Tyranny is very real in our world today, and we must oppose it. Apathy, however, is just as real and we must stand opposed to it as well.

We must fight the lies of the enemy. We must fight tyranny. We must also fight the apathetic tendencies in our churches and in our Country today.

Truth matters. People matter. Jesus matters.

Today, I rebuke the enemy and his tactics in the name of Jesus. I pray for God to pour out His grace and mercy, and for God to crush the spirit of apathy in our lives. We have one live to live and make a difference. Maranatha!

Let's stand, put on the full armor of God, and fight boldy.
