2021-08-10 18:02:19 I have had a lot of people the last week ask me if they were going to read the Bible, where would they start. would start in the book of John in the New Testament.

Some great translations I like of the Bible are NKJV, NIV and NASB. These are my favorites. Some people think you should read KJV only and I am not in that camp.

Pray 7:14

Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God; for He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you—the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month" (Joel 2:23).
Let us pray:

Thank you Father for all the mercy drops of answered prayers You have already answered to this date in my life. Thank You for bringing me where I am, and for never leaving me nor forsaking me. Thank You for helping me seek You during this time. Thank You for being so faithful to always provide all my needs.

I am reading your Word here, and it says that You will continue to pour out as You have done. Thank You for that. Father you have promised me more than I have seen manifest in my life. Your Word promises that You’ll continue doing what You have always done, but You will add more to it (the former plus the latter rain). Pour out for me both the former rain—the provision You have always manifest; the mercy drops—PLUS the latter rain —the HUGE provision, manifest promises, and answers to prayer that You has promised me. Pour this out on me now.

Thank You for all of Your mercy drops. It says in 1 John 5:14-15, which says: "Now this is the confidence that we have in You, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hears us. And if we know that You hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of You."Thank You for hearing my prayer. Thank You Holy Spirit for helping me pray.
