Bank of India has released an advertisement for recruitment of 484 Credit Officers in JM-1 cadre where along with other professionals CMAs are eligible to apply. The last date of submission of online application is 10th May,2022.
Further, Punjab National Bank has released their advertisement for 100 vacancies for Credit Officers in MMG-II.
The Credit Officer in banks requires handling credit proposals of different nature like Term loan, Cash Credit, project Financing, Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantee. Among many other things, the officer needs to analyze financial ratios, cash flow and fund flow, debt- equity etc. which are part of the syllabus of CMA examination and therefore the CMAs have an edge over others to be more successful in this area of banking. You are all aware that the Institute is already holding a Certificate course in Credit Management.
