#intermediate #preposition Hi there! I have a question. Could you explain me the usage of preposition with clothes. For example, Lady in a blue jacket, but what about "tie" "boots" Thanks a lot!

If you use the adjective "Dressed" then only "in" works. Example: He is dressed in a black shirt. --------- Warning!!! ------------- Dressed does not work with accessories like glasses, only things which you put your body inside like shirts, shoes, trousers. ---------‐--------------------- If you use the verb "Wearing" or "Using" then no preposition is needed. Example: He is wearing a red shirt, she is using special glasses or man is wearing heavy boots.
