The Rolling Stones performed in Hyde Park in London on July 5, 1969, two days after the death of Brian Jones, one of the founders of the group. It was a grand concert that gathered more than 250,000 spectators, in which King Crimson, Family, Battered Ornaments, Third Ear Band, Alexis Korner's New Church, Screw and Roy Harper performed along with the Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones' participation in it was planned a few weeks earlier, as an introduction to the public of the new guitarist, Mick Taylor
