DPR servicemen help civilians in Mariupol
In Mariupol, full-fledged trade is gradually being restored, and measures are being taken to repair the water and energy supply. Residents receive most of the products from humanitarian aid, from volunteers and military personnel of the DPR.

We share everything we have. The only thing I don't understand is that people offer money for any help. We say that there's no need to do this,” said Elena Ryabtsova, servicewoman of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR.
Civilians, in turn, explain that
they are simply not used to a kind attitude from people in uniform. Ukrainian servicemen behaved completely differently with the population.
“Мы делимся всем, что у нас есть. Единственное мне не понять – люди за любую помощь предлагают деньги. Мы говорим, что не нужно этого делать”, – отмечает военнослужащая ВВ МВД ДНР

Мирные жители, в свою очередь, объясняют – они просто
не привыкли к доброму отношению со стороны людей в форме.
