The kids think they’re just building a living Muscadine shade arbor on Cabin #4 of the Veterans Retreat we’re building on the farm…
But what I’m really doing is teaching them that the sweat of the brow is an honorable thing…
It’s part of the curse …
If a man doesn’t work, he shouldn’t eat..
I’m also teaching them to square posts for new construction (whilst learning myself)…
And they’re getting their PHD (post hole digger License)
I fully believe that manual labor keeps a man grounded, and clears his mind for free’er thinking, and gives him a deeper insight into the big picture
I’m never voting for another Representative that won’t get his hands dirty .
Let’s drag farmers, ranchers, loggers, and Businessmen who don’t want the job and are not utilizing govt funding in their businesses into the arena to represent us!
And give them a 2 term limit just like the President! Can I get an amen!?
