My daddy fought evil and spread the gospel every single day he breathed air for the last 33 years of his life, bc he understood that the world we live in today would be affected by his action or inaction.
His 9 sons buried him in a grave we dug with shovels while listening to his favorite old songs …in a coffin we built ourselves
He taught me to look to God’s word for strength and to question everything in light of God’s word and the principal it contains.
I can’t wait to join him on the other side and rest in the shade of the trees.
But for now we hold the standard of Truth aloft and press on …
My prayer is that when Death is allowed …it will find me covered in the sweat of that days battle (not on the sidelines remembering yesteryear) and that I’ll hear the words from my King “Well don’t thou good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of the Lord”
